The project was first shared on 22/12/2019 as the AHBC it originally was. When it was originally installed, this crossing had halogen lights, Mk1 'penguin' barriers and bells. On 15/05/20, it was renewed with LEDs, SPX barriers and E2S alarms. The project was unshared at the end of 2023 for the full makeover this line of projects are getting, and was reshared on 17/06/2024. In May 2025 the crossing was upgraded to become the first proper working MCB-OD on MRB infrastructure, which is what you're seeing today. The new scratch project was reshared on 16/06/2025.
The faced-paced MoFlash yodalarm you're hearing is actually my own, and hasn't been recorded from a crossing at all! I've owned it since November 2023, but this is the first time I've used it for Scratch. The crossing upgrade has taken place ahead of the construction of Newcotte station which will be built nearby, and serving as a prototype OD crossing, since it's the only one of its kind so far. If you watch the MRB YT channel, you'll know that the former depot and sidings have long been taken up and demolished.
