He joined the ranks of the guardians who protect the island from outsiders, although Blaise doubted there was life beyond the island. He's generally a loner, staying away from the other guardians and focusing on trying to find the remnants of his family. The village he lived in was raided when he was a small child, and he only remembers the shadowy figures of his parents shooing him away from the action, and running into the forest. So, he doesn't exactly know what he is. An elf? An imp? He's pretty set on finding out. One day on his travels runs into Carmen and Terron, two humans stranded after the cruise ship they worked on had sunk. He really had no idea that humans existed, but eventually, let them travel with him to find shelter. He hardly ever uses violence despite being a trained guardian, but caring for three companions who hardly know how to protect themselves from the dangers of the island may challenge that.
