When you press the right arrow key the square moves to your right, but it also goes to the X-axis. Same for the up arrow key: The square moves fordward, but it also moves to the Y-axis! In the endless-mode you need to survive as long as you can. There are 5 different mainobstacles. The boss-mode offers you a preseted sequence which YOU need to survive!
