I've been in a Steven Universe mood lately and I decided to make a fan character because heck why not I made an opal because that's my birthstone and I made her a black fire opal because they're cool. Press space to see her gem components Up arrow to see the gem I used as reference, down arrow to hide it OPAL: Nickname: Opal most of the time, sometimes Black Opal Gemstone: black fire opal Age: hhhhh I'm not sure yet Weapon: a sword of some sort but I haven't designed it yet Personality: she's very chill, cheerful, and a bit too trusting. She finds life on earth fascinating and entertaining. She says "oh" and "um" a lot. Clothing: A yin/yang necklace that separates when she unfuses, a purple tank top under a magenta sweater, and fuzzy pants that are probably pajamas but she doesn't care (or know lol). Her pants and sweater are human clothing (which means that technically the pants should be a bit short on her but shh nobody will notice). Backstory: still not really sure lol but she came to earth to learn at Little Homeschool and be herself Other: she doesn't like eating. Spending time at Funland is one of her favorite things to do at Beach City. She's a bit shorter than canon Opal. She has no clue what the 'peace' symbol means but she does it all the time anyway. She's a stable fusion but she unfuses more often than canon Garnet does, usually because Red and Purple want to do something as themselves/on their own, or they just need a break from being Opal. |OPAL'S COMPONENTS| PEARL: Nickname: Red or Red Pearl Gemstone: red conch pearl Age: idk but she was made in early Era 2 Weapon: none Personality: playful, a bit careless/reckless sometimes, doesn't know what she's doing half of the time. Still trying to get over the habit of obeying orders, saluting when talking to a higher-ranking gem, and addressing others with formal names. Older sister-type person Clothing: her tank top and necklace are part of her form, her pants are human clothing Backstory: it's still a wip but she was made on one of Yellow Diamond's largest colonized planets as it was running out of resources, which resulted in her staying in a bit overtime and being a bit shorter than most pearls. She was given to an agate for a few hundred years until she started to disobey said agate. Red's disobedience resulted in her getting rejuvenated. After rejuvenation Red was given to a high-ranking quartz soldier. Red met Purple sometime after that but I'm still working on that part Other: She doesn't like eating-- she thinks it's weird. she wasn't corrupted, those markings are natural. She stores a heck of a lot of stuff in her gem and it's very messy in there (imagine something like canon Amethyst's room but inside a pearl lol). Her and Purple's relationship is more sisterly than romantic AMETHYST: Nickname: Red likes to call her Purple but she responds to Amy as well Gemstone: amethyst Age: not sure but she was made in late Era 2 (older than canon Amethyst though) Weapon: a sword of some sort, I haven't designed it yet Personality: cheerful, curious, like most amethysts she has fun doing dumb stuff Clothing: her shorts and necklace are part of her form, the sweater is human clothing Backstory: her story is a lot less developed than Red's so far but she was made on the same planet as Red and emerged a few thousand years after Red did. Since there were even less resources then, Purple also stayed in overtime and came out shorter than most amethysts (she's taller than canon Amethyst though). She was assigned to be a guard on Homeworld (idk who/what she was guarding) and kept that post until she met Red, and I still don't know how that happened lol I'll figure it out later. Other: Like Red she thinks eating is weird but she enjoys some foods (when she's Opal though she respects Red's opinion and won't try to eat anything). Her and Red's relationship is more sisterly than romantic
