ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, i present to you the (al)most accurate port of NES Tetris on scratch. (actually, that title belongs to @habbo777's version, play it here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/402461992/) (thanks for bringing it to my awareness) Left and right arrows to move, up arrow to rotate , down arrow to go down faster. Space to start and "OK" in the menu. Changes: NES Tetris Music instead of Gameboy "Statistics" I made scarlet for accuracy to the 1989 version When you level up the tetrominoes now change color Credits and title screen Removed "don't forget to follow" message for accuracy's sake Also removed thumbnail with the modern "TETRIS" logo and replaced it with NES credits and title screen You can now see the world record! (see it under "top"!) Select level and music! (use arrow keys to navigate) When you get a Tetris, it flashes! Accurate sound effects! Accurate graphics! Accurate music!
Music & sound from the 1989 NES Tetris (Nintendo, not Tengen) Gameplay program by smelly_hobbit Additional coding by me i made this for the people who might want to try out NES Tetris but don't have an NES and don't wanna have to dish out like $999.99 on Jumo Computer (Tetris isn't on the NES Classic, probably because Tetris is its own thing now, when it was owned by Soviet Russia or Nintendo back in '89) and don't have one of those fancy emulators (I have one myself, but the audio is terrible due to me having an older PC). I also made this for the childrens in school who wanna play tetris but their teacher says they can only play stuff on scratch, so here they go.
