Press Any/Click ——— i have been on this for a month but hey- i just wanna write about him so I’m not complaining ^^ also there was supposed to be an animation that went along with this but it didn’t load so :/ ——— -Bio- Name: Soren Gender: Male Species: Dog (i dont want to specify) Likes: Water, digging up treasures out of the sand, seafood, Grey (human man, gives food, supposedly adopts him after a time) Dislikes: other dogs, cats, Keeper (possible frenemy status) ——— Soren splashes through the wet sand and out to the edge of the water. He eagerly started digging holes at every sign of movement. Different bugs crawled through the damp sand, only to be caught in the paws of a beast. Soren knew that winter would be coming soon. The sandy pond would freeze over soon, and he wouldn’t be able to play anymore. Humans would try and collect ice from the river up north, and he would be inside by a heater all day. He would play now while it wasn’t as cold, and maybe even catch a fish. Happy times. Soren stepped back a few feet, then leapt into the deep water. When he emerged, he had a frog on the tip of his snout. —— On Saturdays, there was always an open market in the middle of town. Delicious smells of pastries and fine dishes alike filled the air. People sold all sorts of things, from paintings to produce. Now, it was winter. A group of old women sold thick coats and knitted scarves. But what caught Soren’s attention was the setup next to the women’s. A human in a light yellow jacket and black hat sold food. Good food. Soren barked at the man, who looked over and reached out to touch Soren. Soren, wanting food let the human pet him. The man talked to him in his human language. Human language was wordy, hard to understand. Dogs barked. Dogs smelled, leapt into action, fought each other and created bonds with each other. Sometimes, it all happened all within a glance. Still, Soren whimpered and barked in time with the human’s words. The human pet him and checked him for a collar. He fed him and talked his nonsense words to him. He borrowed a collar and leash from another vendor and tied him to the side of the stand. Many people came by that day. They point and look at Soren, some stopping to pet him and then buying things. One person even bought some food from another stand and threw some of it Soren’s way, to his delight. Good food. —— To keep Soren content, Grey (Soren has learned the human’s name by now) brought his dog out to a lake. The lake was frozen over, as it had been for weeks now. The ice was thick and solid, Soren saw. He had never seen ice up close when he had followed the other humans around. Flying bugs soared over the frozen pond. Soren barked at mosquitoes. As they went over the pond, so did he. Upon setting one paw down in the ice, Soren slipped and fell back into the snow. Confused, he jumped back up and took a step back. He whimpered and whined for Grey to come and help. He looked back to see Grey talking with his friend. Looking back over the pond, Soren saw movement. A small rabbit was moving around on the other side of the frozen lake. Soren looked down at his paws as he set one after the other on the ice. He carefully clawed and slid his way across. He hop-slid off the ice, barely landing on his feet. The rabbit was long gone by then, but he had accomplished his goal. He had crossed the frozen lake. ——— I want to write more ! If I win i can expand his story even further, possibly crossing into my other oc Jupiter’s storyline in which a kitten and a ferret go off exploring a city, meeting many different cats and dogs (maybe a bad-mannered raccoon) along the way ?
