hey guys! these are the results of swc, as you can probably tell by the title. i hope that you all enjoyed swc! there was a huge number of you participating, which is absolutely amazing, to have so many newcomers, and of course, people returning! congratulations to all cabins! you all did amazing, regardless of your placing. like i said in the project, it was great to see you having a ton of cabin spirit, working together to win cabin wars, and doing the weekly and daily activities often. <3 so thank you, campers, for participating! without you, swc would cease to exist. i know it's not easy to write 10,000 words in a month, much less over 100,000 like a few of you were able to achieve :D i extend my sincere thanks to all the leaders and co leaders too- i would not be able to run swc without your help! it's been really great getting to know you guys, especially, from all of our shenanigans on the leader thread, and just general discussions! <3 thank you to our writing competition judges- @writing_forever, @florafauna_ss and @scerulean. you three managed to get the results finalised pretty quickly, so thank you for that, and of course, judging! sc has a little message she would like to share, regarding the writing competition: I had a lot of fun reading all the entries but it was so difficult choosing only 12 out of 67 entries. Many of our decisions were a really close call. Please try to take the time to read the winning entries as well as a few of the other entries. I aspire to write as well as them. Congratulations to the winning cabin and I hope to see you all next SWC! as does writi: this was an unforgettable session, and i'm thankful to everyone, especially my fellow judges! we had a really tough time deliberating, but we believe we made a fair decision, although we regrettably left out MANY great stories! keep up the good work everyone! thank you to @writing_forever, @marshmallowmuffins, @okae, @florafauna_ss and @sunshine_the_rainbow for helping me to sort campers! sorting the campers into cabins is not an easy task, so thank you for helping with that :D thank you to the cheese squad for helping me with a bunch of random stuff (you know who you are)! make sure you comment whether you would like to be notified for either camper sign ups or leader applications! just a reminder, leader applications - may 1st, released by me. camper sign ups - june 1st, released by me, for camp to start on july 1st! for any other questions, make sure you comment below, or ask me on my profile. other credits: @candylanguagegirl for starting swc and hosting the first two sessions @theeenderqueen for hosting one session of swc @eciipsed for hosting four sessions of swc @sunshine_the_rainbow for hosting a session of swc with me (read the final announcement!!) music: stray by grace vanderwaal again, thank you for participating in swc! :D see you in july <33 writing competition winners: best plot: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/379237072/ best poem: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/377350/?page=1#post-3889792 best character development: https://www.wattpad.com/855044751-2968-shortened-2968 best style: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/379673789/ honourable mentions: https://www.wattpad.com/853800399-sinner-a-story-for-swc-sinner https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/390210/?page=1#post-3875087 https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/390166/?page=1#post-3874736 https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/391786/?page=1#post-3888251 https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/391973/?page=1#post-3889801 3rd: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/377967571/ 2nd: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/376862645/ 1st: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/390974/?page=1#post-3881266 :D also i apologise about sharing it around half an hour ago- that was an accident!
