New weapon ideas and weapon balancing suggestions! Please comment! Instructions down below :D Update: 6/23/20 -Star Abilities now have an animation when triggered. -Wave 2 of Star Weapons released! Here's what's new: -Icicle Ray! A beam of sub-zero ice that slows down the opponent for a longer duration than a Freeze Ray. When you use up its ammo, the opponent will be completely frozen for 10 seconds. -Six Shooter! A powerful shotgun that has reduced knockback, allowing you to fire in quicker succession. Using up its ammo burns and ices the opponent for 3 seconds each -Asteroid Gun reduced to 75 ammo after being told its too powerful. After the intro, you will encounter a blank screen. Now, do T for 2P and Y for 1P Player 1: WASD to move. 1 to shoot. 2 to shield. Player 2: Arrow keys to move. O to shoot. P to shield. Try to pick up crates. The last one with hearts wins!

Description

BlackViper originally owned this project, hence why you see the BV here. However, it was taken down by the scratch team out of the blue. This is a rebirth of it, with plenty of new weapons to fool around with. I'm not sure what the original intent was, but now it's to have fun, but if you want fewer weapons and perhaps more skill-based, go search up "Battlegrounds" and find a game similar-looking to this. Anyways, to the weapons! Pistol: Your average gun. Does 1 damage and has 10 ammo. --------------------------Crate Items-------------------------- Machine Gun: 1 damage, rapid-fire, and 50 ammo. All you really need. Shotgun: 6 ammo, more close up damage. Causes serious knockback when done right. Sniper, a fast, long bullet. Great for catching still targets off guard. Freeze Ray: A weapon that ices the target, making them blue and slowing their move speed. RPG: 3 ammo, big explosion on impact, and high damage. Very slow projectile, however. It also can damage you, so be careful. Great if you're in the lead by a large margin and just want to finish your opponent off. Sheer Cold: One-shots opponents if it hits. 2 ammo with a fairly thin bullet. Burner: Burns opponent for 3-7 seconds. 4 ammo, 1 damage per second. Potion: Restores a heart. Does not make an extra heart if you already have the max amount, or 3. Pistol+: A pistol that is better than a normal pistol in every way. 2 dam,(1dam nor),.35 reload (.5 nor), 15 ammo (10 nor), and a cool plus. BOUNCER(Player 1 Exclusive): I decided to make a gun where the bullet ricochets off a wall. This gun is a player exclusive to player 1, (blue), and does 3 damage, making it eligible as a stronger pistol, a bigger bullet, and can bounce once at a 90-degree angle. LASER(Player 2 Exclusive): I put the bouncer as a player 1 only thing, so I had to do something that would be equal strength to the bouncer. My friends have been asking me for this anyway so I chose a laser. The laser has a mid-range, meaning it does not go through the whole field, is one beam and does not shoot like normal, and can pierce through the ground. It does 1 damage and has 10 ammo. Note that because it is Player 2 exclusive, you can not obtain it during AI play, but the AI CAN. Shockwave: An item that sends a shock in a circular radius around the user. Has 7 ammo and does fairly good damage. Leech Life: Has 5 ammo is a relatively slow projectile, making it fairly easy to dodge. However, if one were to aim the fangs just right with such skill, it not only does 6 damage (half health), but also grants the user half of that, or 3 health (1/4 of total) back. Great when on your last life and need a last resort for offense and defense. Note: If you are at max health already, the Leech Life will not give you the extra 3 health, and will not grant you extra hearts. If you need extra hearts, a potion is the only way. --------------------------Star Crates-------------------------- The Idea: Much rarer crates that are enhanced versions of the original weapons. (Pistol, Machine Gun, Shotgun, Sniper, Freeze Ray, RPG). However, all ammo will be cut in half (rounded up) except the machine gun, but finish off with a unique "Star-Ability" when all ammo is used up. To compensate the machine gun's non-ammo loss, it will be void of a "Star Ability" The plans are listed below but are not released yet. --------------------------Items-------------------------- Pistol++: 3 damage, 5 ammo, .25 fire. Star Ability: The "Pistol" weapon will now do 1 extra damage, calculated as Pistol Power. It'll do 2 damage, then 3, then 4, and so on. Asteroid Gun: 75 ammo, .025 fire, 1 damage. Scope: 3 ammo, 8 damage, .75 fire speed. Star Ability: Player goes 50% faster for 10 seconds Icicle Ray: A beam of ice comes out of the target, just like a Laser, and has 5 ammo plus does 2 damage. Inflicts the "Ice" ability. Star Ability: Completely immobilizes the target for 10 seconds. Six-Shooter: 3 ammo, 9 damage, 1 sec. fire rate. Star Ability: Inflicts a burn and ice on the opponent for 6 seconds each. Rocket Science: Same as RPG, just has a bullet twice as fast and has 2 ammo. Star Ability: You are given an extra heart (If you already have 3, you are granted max health) and the sky turns hazy with orange smoke because of your bombs for 10 seconds. -------------------------- WIP: Star Abilities will eventually also trigger an animation.
