In Season 2, he saved Godzillas life from Monster X. -The quotes Jirass said before he goes in the lake is a reference to Godzilla King of the Monsters when Dr. Serizawa talks to Mark before he leaves. -The background picture when Jirass was walking up the stairs is by using the Snipping Tool. I play the movie Godzilla King of the Monsters on my laptop then pause and use the Snipping Tool. -When Jirass makes the statue of old kings explode, Godzillas dorsal plates changed to the 1954 dorsal plates(AKA 2019 Godzilla design) -Just to be clear on what the "Statue of Old Kings" is that it has Kings who were good. Not putting this as cannon but the Godzilla Kings were the 70's, 90's and 2004. They died, their souls go inside the statue and will help Godzilla defeat Mecha King Ghidorah.
