I n f o *Tired artist noises* That just happened -- Okay but aWOS, you have melted my heart with these two hybrid children hssjhsh - - - Here’s the process { Click for next uwo } 1. Sketch - I did on paper so that it was really small, and I didn’t have to do things on large scale 2. I took a photo of that and did another, cleaner sketch on FlipaClip 3. I did then lineart and that was a headache, but flat colors are up next so I took a break by just coloring for the next while haha { I forgot to make lineart and color two separate steps oh well } 4. Back around to the final piece uwu" Shading is h a r d ? Especially when you have to choose the right colors for the atmosphere and all that, I wish I chose a warmer shade like orange rather than the pale ivory color I used but that’s okay, besides I’ve literally never shaded before It was pretty hard by I don’t have any purchased features on so I have to copy/paste layers together to merge them and also, I can only have three layers at a time so there was a lot of deleting and copy-pasting involved, rip me - - - Also I moved the position of that flame a t o n of times, at first I had it off to the side being a cute lil heart-shaped flame but I was like nah, it’s in the center of em now ig Basically Maine { Black haired child uwu } has powers to manipulate fire, even though he looks like an ice elemental he’s actually a fire/ice hybrid hence the powers Same with Vesper, but his combination is earth/ice and he can create dust clouds uwu" He can also lift things his weight and heavier with little to no effort, and when Maine asked him to demonstrate his powers, he, uh, Picked him up :") They both ended up enjoying that but both were to embarrassed to say anything hehehe Now do you see why I ship this so har d???
