Instructions

Just press the green flag and listen :) This is a random music generator deigned to emulate a semi free form jazz quintet. They may play a little crazy but you are the conductor. Hear a scale you don't like? Press the space bar and they band will change keys, scales, and tempo. Wait long enough and they will change on their own.

Description

all by Locomule updated 9/3/2021 I added BPM and variable freetime to make everything sound a little more musical without being too rigid. These values usually get randomized during key changes. I also made the background more interactive with the music. Updated: now with 6 scales and note effects :) inspired rather randomly by @scmb1's "Weird Pompom Wall" project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/346775826/ There is toooons of stuff that can be done with midi and you never see anyone mess with it. Its like we're all mining for diamonds and there is this one field just full of diamonds nobody mines in :D My most popular project ever is probably my midi keyboard that lets your record and trade songs.. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/41149292/
