Use the arrow keys to move your dragon avatar around the town. After choosing what shop to work at, dragons will start paying you for whatever you are selling. You can't buy anything when your health is at zero. Go to the hospital to restore health. The robber only attacks at night and sometimes once during the day. It will take away any money not in your safe. To put money in your safe, click on it. Click on something in the furniture store to buy it and press the "1" key to place it down. Make sure you spell everything right when you are asked a question or it may not recognize what you typed.
