I should be working on a MAP part or memorizing a poem... but nooope (although the MAP part is almost done!) Press any key or click the sprite to switch costumes SHIP ART (I did one with light effects and one without) So... I really couldn't choose, so I just did the first ship that popped into my mind... (I'm thinking of doing the other two, I'm just a little to busy right now. Also, I'm sorry, Mitch!) And can I say that I love Braelin's design? Ah, she's such a great character... so I really hope I haven't totally butchered her. Also, I made Miranda's skin way too light, but I realized this all too late, and I had already added her clothes. I'm sorry! This isn't based on any particular scene, I just was running out of ideas. Some of the body language (sorta) symbolizes their relationship. Braelin is always there for Miranda, guiding her and helping her through tough situations (and protecting her, in a sense, since Miranda's a scardey cat and needs to try to impress Braelin to get anything done.) Miranda's moral support, and gives the best pep-talks and hugs. As for the memes... I didn't do any memes. I'm sorry, but I'm not cool or hip, nor am I funny. But I drew Trampoline in what I hoped was very dramatic lighting, so I hope that counts. It's an inside joke, sorta? (either way, it was very fun.)
Okay, here's my room idea: Masquerade! The contestants quietly poured through the door, still shaken by what they had just experienced. (I'm inferring something horrible will happen again. I bet I'm right.) They came, some of them clinging in groups, others going ahead of the pack. As they wandered in, many of the contestants at the front stopped in their tracks, causing many glares and annoyed comments from those they were blocking in the back. The room had opened up into a giant and an elaborate ballroom. The architecture was victorian, much like the lobby, but it was, in a sense, grander. It seemed like something that belonged out of a palace from long ago, not deep in an escape room. It was dark, and although there were no windows, it felt much like it was night. The only illumination was created by lanterns that hung from every corner, shedding warm light, and making the shadows dance, as if they, too, were joining the mascarade. And the music... the music seemed both old and new, beautiful, but mysterious, and somewhat inhuman. It had a strange, bewitching melody that seemed to invite you in and join in the dance. The intercom crackled on: "Greetings. I'm surprised that so many of you have made it out of that last one. We will have to do something about that... But don't worry, in this next room, feel free to have a ball! Literally! There is a table of masks on the other side of the room. Chose a mask if you want to get out of here, but chose wisely. And don't worry. Don't worry about anything ever again. Relax. Dance. Become lost in the song..." It finished, crackling off. And indeed, there was a table piled high with masks. They were beautiful and ornate, with lace, and gemstones, with gold and silver. They depicted creatures of all sorts, from demons to ravens, dragons to sheep, spirits to deer. And some weren't even creatures. Which mask will you choose? (I'll give you more details if you want to know more, but suffice to say that at each end of the room there is a door. One leads to safety, and the others lead to different fates... The masks are the keys to unlocking the clues hidden around the room, which will lead you to open different doors. There is food, which looks amazing and almost magical. It is, of course, poisoned. (Or treated with sedatives) You can dance to the music, but try not to. At least, not for too long...)
