I made this because it's been a while since I shared a project and I wanted to see how this would turn out. @SuperKittyCodes is also making something for me. I probably should have said that I wasn't really going to make an original drawing, just a redraw in vector. I chose to do vector art because I haven't seen any projects @SuperKittyCodes made of Solarflare in vector, and I personally like using vector because you can see the difference between it and bitmap. The edges are all smoothed out and if you switch between the original and this one, you'll see the difference. This was pretty challenging and took me a long time, but it helped me better understand how to use vector and get better at art with it. There were probably many ways I could have done this in a simpler way, but at least it worked for me. I experimented with shading as well, something that I don't normally do. To me, it looks a little too subtle in some parts. One part that I'm not sure whether I replicated accurately is the scarf, specifically one small detail on the side opposite the pin. (In other words, are those letters supposed to be there?) You can click "See Inside" to see how I made this art. If you commented some ways that I could improve, that would help me a lot in future projects. The music used is Beep Beep by Schtiffles. I tried to find a song that I had that most fit the project. Even if it doesn't really fit, I still think it's better than having no music at all in the project. In case you somehow got all the way here without noticing it before, this drawing is just a redraw of Solarflare from an already existing project, not an original drawing.
