Instructions

This is a project I made for a 5th-grade engineering class that I teach. Feel free to remix it and try it out. See the RULES V V V Scenario: We've developed some robo-bees that will gather nectar from flowers so that we can make honey. The bees should fly to a flower, collect nectar, and take the nectar back to the hive before doing everything again. Right now, they are not very good at doing that. Can you help improve the code? RULES V V V

Description

RULES -You can only edit the bees' code (but do not alter the bees' code that has a note over it) - You can code how bees look for nectar and how they get home - Bees can also be programmed to drop green and orange scents to communicate with other bees - You can program what happens when bees smell these scents as well as the scents given off by flowers - Don't use blocks like "Go to Flower" or "Point toward Hive," that's cheating! Hit the flag to test out your code and see how much nectar your bees can collect in 30 seconds! Notes: - Bees can only hold one unit of nectar at a time. They cannot gather more nectar until they bring it back to the hive - If a bee is blinking green, it is holding nectar - The placement of bees, flowers, and the hive at the start of each test is random
