SCP - 4019 "World's biggest Corn Maze" Item class: Euclid {Nonstandard Spacetime, Hostile Environment} Description: _____________________________________________ SCP - 4019 is a corn maze of indeterminate size. 4019 is accessed through a dirt path with substantial overgrowth resembling a tunnel, situated in the center of a corn maze at [REDACTED] Family Farm. Once a subject has entered the tunnel, they will seamlessly be transported to the 4019 dimension, and out the respective end. Through multiple exploratory missions, it has been proven that the maze is similar to SCP-3008, in that it is seemingly endless, and are inhabited by hostile entities that appear as scarecrows (designated 4019-2) armed with large standard farmer's scythes. These entities are hostile on sight, and will attempt to dispatch victims via █████████████ or ████████████. The maize that comprises the boundaries of the maze are inherently impervious to all forms of destructive forces, and will take on a temporary anomalous hostility when attempting to breach the "walls" in any way, including walking through. When in an enraged state, the stalks of the corn will behave like living tendrils, and will attempt to ensnare the victim and strangulate / infiltrate their ████████████. If the corn successfully preforms the latter, the victim will die, and be resurrected as another instance of SCP - 4019-2. The sky of the 4019 dimension is in a perpetual state of twilight, and the clouds appear to consist of a shadow-like material, similar to the "Sun", which rises and sets at a slower rate (normal day/night cycle lasting 48 hours per phase). While in the night phase, the whole maze will be shrouded in darkness, although the sky changes little much. During the nighttime, all instances of 4019-2 will spontaneously combust, and become more aggressive, seeming to be able to sense and track a victim from a radius of up to 100 meters. The scarecrows will not breach the corn to catch up, but will follow the fastest route to the victim(s). Once the night cycle has ended, all instances will revert to their daytime form, and will adopt their kill on sight behavior once again. End Report.
