Alice is a mood. She wants to believe she would sacrifice the few for the many, but she goes back on her words because she desperately tries to save the few that she has faces for, risking and ultimately dooming the safety of the faceless many. She offers self sacrifice many times, but ultimately runs away from her horrible actions. She is a coward and a liar, even if she doesn't intend to be so. She cannot bring herself to kill while looking into someone's eyes, but would do so if she tricked herself into thinking she had already wrecked the person. No, if the army MADE her wreck the person. She gives herself the illusion of not having a choice. But she does. And she makes many that she thinks are in her own favor without any downsides. But there are consequences. Consequences for the faceless. The ones she will never meet, therefore she will have no care for them. They don't have names to her. The ones that do are the ones that she thinks 'really' get impacted the most. But no.
Look at that art.. it's totally unrelated but I like it so I put it up there. Little easter egg, it's Slaughter riding Patho into battle like a good rogue.
