Last modified 25 Oct 2019 OG desc had everything that was planned for this but i sucked at doing literally anything in 2019 so like there's a lot inside and this was meant to be a digital version of a card game i made with index cards on paper that i still have lol i suggest you look inside this one [I could show photos if you guys want me to-] og desc: <PLEASE READ EVERYTHING IN HERE> Hello and welcome to OC Card! It uses OCs of mine, several video game characters, and if you're interested, YOU (or your OCs) can be cards too! Just click this link! <link> This is probably my most ambitious project yet (other than Prodigy and Kirbytale767, which are in the works)! (QUICK NOTE: LOCAL/ONLINE PLAY DOES NOT WORK YET [that might take a while]!) Please enjoy! INSTRUCTIONS BELOW Object of the game: Reduce the other's players Life Points (or LP) down to 0, while preventing yourself from doing so, too. Setup: The game will automatically give you five cards and the maximum LP set by you in settings. (The default is 5000 LP.) A coin toss is conducted to see who goes first. There are several different types of cards: Fighter, Item, Field, Effect, Team, and Shield. Each does a different thing, but the tutorial goes over the main details about them. I will explain Fighter cards, however, as they are one of the most important cards. Fighter cards have several pieces of data on them. To see an example of one, see this link: <link> The first would be the name of the character. After that are two more important variables: the Type and Maximum HP. There are a variety of different types: Dark, Copy, Robot, Digital, Magic, Ninja, Reptile, Energy, Electric, Alchemy, Normal, Water, Vein-Up, Plant, Ice, Maximum HP is the highest level HP a card can have, and this is its starting HP, too. The little symbol (if any) under the NAME is the Team that card is on. If you combine all the cards in a Team, you get the entire, very powerful Team, which can attack shields, Fusion cards, and other Teams. The symbol (or series of symbols) under the MAXIMUM HP is an/are Accommodation(s). They only affect certain item cards, but can also affect gameplay (but very rarely). Under the image of the character is a series of attacks, which vary in damage and a Fighter card can have from one to five attacks/moves! (Note on attacks/moves: Attacks do damage, where as moves do not. You can only conduct one attack/move per turn, unless you have certain items and stuff.) Some attacks have an effect or catch, which happens in addition to the attack damage. Under that, are two pieces of data The one on the left shows Equip slots. Every fighter can have 3 Equip Items equipped (unless otherwise stated, through items/stuff), but this data shows how many of WHAT can be placed. The data on the right gives a quick description and history, but I plan to make a project on all of the fighters, to show you just who they are. Now to explain HOW to win. Using fighter and item cards, you can reduce the LP of your opponent. Whenever a Fighter Card is attacked, its HP is reduced. If its HP is reduced to zero, the owner loses LP equal to the amount of damage remaining (for example: If a Fighter with 20 HP gets hit with an attack doing 40 damage, there is 20 damage left after the HP is 0, So the owner's LP is reduced by 20.) If there is no cards on the defending side, then LP is attacked directly. This is an example of how elements from Yu-gi-oh, another card game, are implemented. Items, as well as certain cards in separate categories, can also damage LP. Now how exactly does Uno play into this? After all, it is an unlikely match with action card games such as Pokemon or Yugioh. There are two reasons: 1. When you have no cards, you draw one card. 2. If you end up having no cards thrice in one turn, you gain 100 LP. (sort of like winning in Uno) Some other notes: If, at the end of your turn, you have more than the card limit (7 cards, but can be changed), you must discard until you reach said value. If your LP is at least 2000 over maximum, your LP is reset to maximum. Discarding a card from the hand costs 10 LP, but when doing it from the field, it costs 50 LP per card. ONLY on Player One's FIRST turn, they cannot attack nor draw a card at the start of their turn. Every match is also timed for 2 hours. If time does run out, whoever has the most LP wins.
