Instructions

TurboWarp highly recommended - https://turbowarp.org/339207237/fullscreen?hqpen ** IMPORTANT NOTE ** This project contains 1000's of costumes and may not load properly in Scratch. The TurboWarp link (above) is hugely recommended! This is a "point 'n' click" adventure - all control is done with the mouse (or touch screen). Tap the '?' icon for in-game instructions. They include a clue to get you started! Oh... please put any save codes in the forum and not in the comments. They're a lot shorter than they were originally but they still make awful comments :)

Description

Playthrough of initial stages here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/kLUSilsCQUc/ Forum for help, questions, problems, etc. - https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/374129/ 31/10/2019 - Improved text colours - Improved character spacing - Added background for dialogues - Implemented Linc terminals - Multiple bug fixes 28/10/2019 - Added more data compression - Added ~1000 more costumes - Added more of the actual adventure - Compressed save/load codes - Fixed bug in furnace room This project is fully playable but isn't finished yet. It has been a mammoth task getting it this far so I'm sharing it and taking a short break to see if anyone is interested in me completing it... Here are some of the main remaining tasks: 1) Try to squeeze the rest of the game into the project 2) Restarting after game-over takes too long 3) Text colours are awful 4) Polish and bug fixes This is a rather ambitious port of a brilliant game that is supported by SCUMMVM (and that the developer has kindly made freeware and released the assembly language code for). All credit for the game goes to Revolution Software. Credit to the ScummVM team for their work in reverse engineering the assembly code. Credit to James Woodcock for his enhanced soundtrack which I've used. I did have the full front end animation sequence that leads into the initial cut scene but it caused most computers to crash due to the insane amount of costumes and animations involved. Such a shame as it was fully working on this computer, too... #games #adventures #retro #description(This is a classic point and click adventure game released by Revolution Software in 1994. I wasn't able to fit the entire game into the limited size allowed in a Scratch project but it's still very playable!)
