Kappa's grandparents were magicians. They're children gave up on it when they got married. When he was young, we and his older brother Lambda, were branded with a scar. After his grandparents died, he and Lambda ran away and Kappa found and trained under Merlin. When he turned 15, he discovered a defeated Ceonus, and trained him.
