SCP- 4232. Object class: Euclid. "The Fungal Field" [Optical-based hazard, Bio-hazardous, Anomalously Reproductive] Description: _____________________________________________ SCP 4232 is a range of various mushrooms that usually group together. The quantity varies, and tends to change usually when not observed. This means it can spread from a single mushroom to a large compiled mass if left unattended. If an object that is not plant based enters the area for over a duration of 10-15 minutes unmonitored, SCP 4232 will spread and overtake the object in question. Usually, inanimate objects take less time to be overtaken, but living things take more time to be overtaken, if the subject is not viewing 4232. If a human is "infected", the mushrooms will manifest systematically up the clothing and attachments first, unless there is none. Once the mushrooms have finished manifestation on the clothing, it will begin to grow out the victim's body. There is no known way to halt it's progress without harming the organism once it reaches critical infection rate on the organism, immobilizing it and usually causing asphyxiation. Special Containment Procedures: _____________________________________________ SCP 4232 is to be contained in a small forested grove, designated Site Alpha-4232, approximately 50m in diameter, far from populated areas. Any civilians coming within 10 meters of the grove are to be turned away, with the cover story of a dangerous sinkhole. Air vehicles shall be deterred with the notion of restricted airspace. If SCP 4232 reaches a critical mass, incendiary weapons are authorized to clear out as much as possible. Addendum 1B-4232 : _____________________________________________ 1 D class blindfolded and exposed to SCP 4232 unaware of anomalous properties, unobserved for 12 minutes. 5 minutes into experiment- Subject complains of increased weight on clothing, and an itching sensation. 10 minutes- Subject begins complaining that itching has turned to pain as mushrooms begin growing out of subject, and frantically requests the test be ended. 12 minutes- Subject begins shouting in distress, before they are cut short and become immobilized. Faint muffled choking can be heard as Subject is asphyxiated. Test is ended, and remains are burnt via incendiary weaponry. Further testing pending approval from 05 Council. -End Transmission-

Kevin Macleod, for "Lightless Dawn" I merely rewrote and reformatted the report to appear more like a legitimate SCP report. Also redesigned the SCP and made it look nice and added music and a background. Sorry if the music sounds weird, that's just what happens when you compress stuff. Yes, I finally figured out how to compress massive soundtracks in scratch.
