Gears clicked and whizzed in my head as I sat in my window on that peaceful morning. Suddenly, the greatest idea of all popped into my head. I skipped away and settled down with pen in hand. This invention would surely change the entire world! My invention may not be too original, but I think it would be helpful either way. Surely an automatic hand warmer would come in handy? You could use it for your feet and your nose too! If you’re anything like me, your hands are one-hundred-per-cent ice, year round, and it only gets worse in the winter. Once the falling leaves give way to snow, your toes and nose will follow after your hands. The design of this invention is quite simple and compact. The heater is a small, flat disk, and attaching it to yourself is simple. Attached to this disk is a soft, flexible bracelet, which is supposed to be placed around your wrist or your ankle. The materials that the bracelet is made from ensure maximum comfort, and if you have sensitive skin, it won’t do you any harm at all. How this heater works is actually quite fascinating…it isn’t warm to the touch, but if you do place your fingertips on it, the pleasant buzzing it sends through your fingertips, and the warmth that follows soon after will surprise you. You see, this small, genius creation uses the power of magnets and electric currents to create warmth in your hands. There is no chance of burning, unlike other heating inventions. As soon as you slip this heater on, the skin beneath it will buzz, and that buzzing feeling will spread throughout your hand. Tiny electric currents that the disk creates cause the buzzing. The energy that is now coursing through your hands will help to improve your circulation, and in doing so, creates warmth. No more icy hands! Isn’t it genius, using the power of this small contraption to actually improve your body’s functions? Just think—within a few years, this device could be used for more than just heating! The possibilities are endless! For example, you might be able to use a larger disk to heat your food, and you’d cut your energy usage in half! Who knows, maybe you could heat your entire house with a gigantic disk? There are millions of things that you could use this invention for! You might want an answer for something I said earlier… “But Birdie,” you cry out, “how could you possibly use this to heat your nose!? You can’t wear a bracelet on your nose!” I let out a high, jolly laugh in reply. Oh, it’s really quite simple, you see, since the disk itself comes in many different sizes, and since it’s magnetic, all you have to do is place one small disk on the inside of your nose, and then place another small disk on the outside! They’ll hold each other in place like magic! It’s as simple as wearing a nose ring!
