Description

Fifteen years ago Elyan played with the rocks he picked from the ground outside. He pretended that these were people. Different people. He made them walked towards each other and talked. He made them laugh. He made them cry. “Why are your people named after colors?" A voice whispered next to him. He glanced over, seeing a younger girl, younger than him. She had nice blonde hair and pretty blue eyes. Elyan shrugged, before replying to the girl. "I don't have to think," He raised one of the people- Blue -into the air, before landing down and bonked it into another person - Yellow. He mimicked an explosion sound. The girl giggled loudly, making Elyan grin. "Wanna play?" He offered the girl a rock. The girl looked at it, then shook her head. "I can't play. Maybe I will someday." "Aw, man," Elyan's face fell into a sad expression. He was usually an anger child, always yelling and screaming, even breaking things. But being around this girl eased his temper. "Well, name one then," Elyan pointed to a small circle of rocks. The girl gazed at it. She crawled over to it, pointing at one. "That one's name is Red," The girl said. Elyan giggled, then opened his mouth to say something. But before he could, he heard his mother call for him. Distracted for a moment, Elyan turned his head, then turned back. But as soon as he did the girl was gone. Before he could call out, his mother called for him again. "Fine! I'm coming!" He said, irritated. Elyan grumbled, picking up Red, Blue, and Yellow. As he did so, Elyan felt a sudden sharp pain. He yelped and snapped back his hand. His finger had been cut by Red's sharp edges. Elyan tilted his head. Somehow, he didn't feel like he should cry, like most other seven year olds. Instead, it oddly felt normal, or funny, or even great. Though at this young age, he didn't know how to describe it. He heard his mother call again. Elyan sucked on his finger, before grumpily walking over to his mother, leaving Red alone on the ground. Elyan didn't give this memory much thought. After all, he had met the girl several times before, chatted with her, before she disappeared into thin air, gone without a trace. It wasn't until a year later did his parents introduced him to his new sister - Guinevere - who had nice blonde hair with pretty blue eyes. "But I already met her," Elyan had said irritably. He regretted saying that, because he didn't understand anything that was happening after that. He didn't understand why his parents were concerned, didn't understand why he had to go to a 'special' doctor, didn't understand why his parents were sad, and he didn't understand why he had to take medicine. And he didn't understand why those voices and his friends stopped appearing. Elyan understood nothing. His parents told him nothing of what was wrong. All he knew was that he wasn't...normal? He didn't see any of the other children be mad 24/7. He didn't even see them have to take medicine. Elyan was angry at first, but his anger became to a more manageable state, thanks to spending time with his sister, Guin. Elyan would’ve dug his fingernails into his skin. Cut through his delicate flesh and watch the beautiful red drip out. He would have. If it weren't for the stupid bandages that covered his hands. Those darn nurses, always smiling at him whilst holding him down as he flailed and screamed, cursing at them, insulting them, whatever he could do. Elyan bit his gnawed lips. It was the only thing he could do to get the red. He snickered, remembering when he bit a nurse. It was justified, though. He heard the caw of the raven from her, so to protect himself, he opened his jaw and lunged towards her oncoming hand. Elyan snorted at the stupidity of the others. Why couldn't they heard the caws? Tch. It didn't matter, though. He had chased away that spy. "Still here?" A voice whispered quietly. Elyan mumbled a wordless response back. The voice giggled, then said, "You could always get out of here, y'know. Redevil gave you an exit." Elyan raised his head slightly. He had. When Redevil walked away with his pathetic little raven disguised as a dog, Elyan saw an escape. He snapped his head up to see the girl - Guinevere- smiling at him. Elyan flashed a funky grin. He blinked, and then she was gone. Without a trace. Elyan laughed a little, before staggering to his feet. He looked up with a crazed look on his face, grinning like the mad man he was. "Oh, oh, oh~" He cooed, "I'm coming. Just you wait." "We can't find him. The male patient, Elyan Emeriss, fled out the front door of the clinic, disappearing into a alleyway. We sent someone after him but he just...disappeared. Without a single trace."
