Instructions

This is the ALPHA version of AI Learning! I attempted this a while back but it wasn't very good, and the generations were mostly random. Press 'SPACE' or CLICK to place the Goal. Press 'Z' to enable/disable trails. Run in ⚡️Turbo Mode to speed things up. Try the BETA version here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/331925095/ All of the AI have an assigned parent, and they learn from and expand upon their parent's knowledge of where the Goal is. Parents that do well have a higher chance of having more offspring; parents that suck, don't. The best AI of the last generation (the green one) gets to survive an extra generation; this keeps the AI from getting worse. Eventually, after many generations, there will (hopefully) be a large cloud of AI that moves in the general direction of the Goal. ♥ and ★ if you want to see me further develop this! (actually it doesn't matter, I have been anyway :P) Updates: › v1.0 - Release › v1.1 - Changed the AI spawn point to the center of the screen. › v1.2 - Fixed a bug where if the Goal was near the edge of the screen the AI would start to go behind it. › v2.0 - Fixed a HUGE bug where the AI would start moving in the opposite direction of the Goal. › v3.0 - Added trails. › v3.1 - Modified trails to reduce lag. › v4.0 - Completely redid the fitness system. The calculations are WAY more accurate now! › v4.1 - Debugged the turning. › v5.0 - Fixed an INSANE glitch where the AI would loop over and over. › v5.1 - Adjusted the movement. › v5.2 - Redid the path altering. › v5.3 - Added a feature where you place the goal. › v5.4 - Raised the reward for getting to the Goal. › v6.0 - Made it so that the best AI of the last generation gets to survive (represented by green). › v6.1 - Debugged the 'best AI'. › v6.2 - Modified trails.
