Oh gosh this was a close one. Didn't think I'd get to finish it. Two new characters! Myrtle and Arc who live in the same universe as Allen, Damian, Antor, Echo, Dominic, Akiva, and the gang! Myrtle, often called Dove by her friends and mother, is motivated, stern and closed-off. She found out about mythical creatures existing when she was 18 while driving down a small secluded road with her sister. The car was violently toppled and crashed by two creatures fighting. She couldn't see much, but she could see they weren't human. She sustained a relatively little injury while her sister was left blinded. She vowed to hunt those things down and bring them to justice. What that looked like, she didn't know, she didn't think that far ahead. She made enough waves to be noticed by the mythical creature justice system, MCJS for short. They revealed themselves to her and enlisted her help in finding creatures who made themselves known to humans and reign them in, as they do not have the clearance to do so. Her first mission is when she met Arc. Arc, short for Arcade. He chose this name for himself, as he was no longer able to pronounce his original, given name, Ȓ̵̨̮̭̖͚̗̞̳̺̠̐̑̀͋́̄̈͘̚ą̷̜͎̙̥́̌̉h̵̡̳̺̜̯̮͎͕̱̏̆̃̾̓ĝ̸̨͇̲̭̰͈͂̌o̵̡̡͔͉͉͌͋͗̌͊̀r̶̨̨̬̪͎̰̟͍͓̔͌̎͆g̵̰͇̑̉͒̈̒͆͋̊̕a̷̠͊ͅh̸̡̧̘̠̮͍̼̝̼̱͋̚̕a̶̧̖̘͇̣̮̣̣̒̓͋̒̓͝m̵̦͍̘̻̣̞͐̿̌̍̽͆̏͠ĕ̷͓̲͙̘̦̞͒̅͒̓̋̔͠k̷̺͗̋̋̋͌̄̾'̵̝̤̙̤̫̟̟̲́̑̒̔͒͐͑̔͝l̷̟͖͓̥͖͖͎͔̰̹͌̈́̈͂̀́ǎ̷̛̜̪́̍̔͒̚͘c̸͔͈̝̹̗̪̣̥͓̘̈́̓k̵̡̞̟͈̺͇͕̂͂̾́ͅ. He used to be a mythical creature, that is until he took a shovel to the head. He had broken many rules of the MCJS, and Dove was sent to find him. Really, the MCJS didn't care much about Dove's safety, as she was one more human liability. Arc was much more powerful than her, and he knew it. He was a shapestealer, different than a shapeshifter. More powers, more limitations. He could only shift into a different form for around an hour depending on the creature, before having to switch back to his original form. Otherwise, he'd be trapped in the form he shifted to forever. When he found that Dove was sent to track him, he found her. Shifting form to horrid form to scare her, toy with his prey and generally be a show-off, eventually shifting into a human form. Misjudging where she hid, he turned his back and she hit him over the head with a shovel that she had found. He was out for more than an hour and is now suffering from being a human. Oh, oh the horror. He deems himself helpless, hopeless, and utterly worthless due to his new form. He genuinely thinks he is no longer capable of anything, he thinks so lowly of humans. Despite being buff, 7'3, intimidating and having the knowledge of 1,000 years on his side. Dove realized she could use that knowledge and reluctantly teamed up with him, as he seemed to know every creature's weakness. He's useless in a fight though, as depicted here. Dove is glad she found a life of adventure despite being a more down to earth personality type. The most important things in her life are her sister, her job and her 4 house plants. She finds it hard to talk to people and is terrible with animals, so she generally keeps to herself and enjoys her alone time. At first, she just started her job as revenge and wanting to keep her sister safe, but found meaning in realizing she was helping so many more people and creatures. Arc is really only focused on standing out based on his looks, feeling very insecure about being something so dull as a human, choosing to get many piercings and tattoos. Would've probably gotten very extreme body mods if he had the money. He kinda also just wants to not die while being dragged along on Dove's adventures. They share only one decent phone and they WILL eventually kill each other over this. Especially if Arc keeps uninstalling Dove's 'Happy Garden Pet Game: Collect Them All' just to install his 'Bloody Zombie Fighting Sim' game.
