Instructions

After pressing the green flag, you will see a disclaimer. After you have read it, or to skip it, press the spacebar to advance. _ CONCEPTS: _ Mojeek: eWeb Wheel (EmotionalWeb gadget) HelixOS: more dynamic UI, the Avant leader Charles May criticised Windows for having an "overly generic" UI, so it had some sort of impact on OS's. It featured a dock which you could hide, expand, shrink like other programs but unlike other programs it had pages. Within the first year 2.46% of computers ran this OS. As of 2019 6.6% of computers run this OS. Not clearly declining or increasing, just plateauing. As of 2001 it also comes with some colour schemes, based off Windows XP and the iMac G3's five flavours. Challenger (1986 NASA Space Shuttle computer built in 2002), inspired by servers and Mac Pros. They also worked hard on the stability and integrity of the hardware itself. Gladstone (2002, yet to add) inspired by the original iMac, suitcases and vintage TV sets. eWorld operating environment (reimagining by Gil Amelio of eWorld, as a subsystem, inspired by the Linux subsystem for Windows). It made an impact almost as dramatic as the iMac G3 did, with it being mostly stable and with a revolutionary 3D interface (available on Windows 95 and NT 4 as well!) Flap: a cube controller learning the lessons of cube computers (NeXTcube, G4 Cube). I would personally buy it from my local D!ck Smith store. _ COMPANIES _ Avant (Auckland, New Zealand, co-headquarters in Chiba (Japan), Chongqing (China), Palo Alto (California, U.S.)) _ GUIDELINES FOR MAKING A MOCK PRODUCT _ -effective purpose and concept -realistic backstory -timeline and clear release date -not too far into the past or the future -realistic but compelling -type (e.g. computer, tv channel, gadget, features) -make a few great products instead of dozens of mediocre ones -don't limit yourself to Windows or to Apple (there are some Windows AND Apple supremacists out there) -don't limit yourself to operating systems -don't limit yourself to software, try proposing hardware as well -(more optional) aggressive (but not bragging) advertising -you can either comment or remix to add your ideas -good fonts -be original, don't copy -above all, follow the community guidelines
