Description

Remix and sign! LET'S END UNPOPULARITY! Tigress note: Just wanna get my own opinion out here, but don't get me wrong folks, I'm fairly happy with my social standing. All of my friends are great scratchers. Scratch isn't about popularity, but it can be really discouraging if no one remixes that meme you've excited about making, or no one reads that story you've been working hard on. I'm unpopular in real life too, have been my whole life. The friends I have are brilliant people, but it's actually been getting really depressing recently. The fact that somebody is ignored, not accepted, hated on makes me sick. Most of the people remixing this, I had never heard of. Most of the people objecting it, are already popular. I'm not saying everybody should love everybody like one big corny family (although it actually is nicer than you'd think.) but it's just the fact that not many of us go out of our way to make others feel comfortable. People are objecting that, if you want to be popular, you should make something great to earn it. But sometimes, no one will notice it. No one will give them a turn in the limelight. If popularity was that easy, many more good people would be popular. Guys, that arguement just strikes me as too close to saying that every popular person is a good person and all the unpopular people are uncreative and undeserving. I mean, stereotypes are based on truth. If there's a good art project, or a good game, it will usually end up with the fame it deserves. And yes, the new projects thing is typically filled with not-as-great projects. But how will these scratchers ever get better if you don't help them out? You don't have to love it, just give the guy some darn advice! I mean, I am not a good artist. I am not a good scripter. But I honestly believe that my stories are good. But not many people see them, or notice them. The same holds true for most writers. There ARE other forms of creativity than artwork and games, awesome as I am sure they both are. Just look at the new scratchers. Not many new scratchers are noticed, unless they've made some great big art project or game. Really, face it, scratch is primarily art-based and game-based. As a writer, that makes me sad. What's so much better about your creativity that makes it fair to ignore us authors? We need more writers, and more people to notice them. We need more people to notice in general. And if you don't see this project, if you don't comment, if you don't care. If you've never heard of a little author called WhiteTigress, and feel too high and mighty to read this. Then that's fine. Because, for the most part, you wouldn't be the person that I'd want to be friends with anyway.
