For a forum question: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/368255/ If you put the custom block Play Note (note, time) in student's projects then they can write instructions such as Play Note (Re 0.8) Note that capital letters are not important, so Play Note (re 0.8) is just the same to Scratch. Or you can use the separate custom blocks for each note so that the students can't make typing errors with the note names.
