This project has the unique features of allowing you to record yourself clapping, play back the recording, and view it as a graph over time or in musical score! I’d love to hear your feedback : ) There is now a tutorial explaining this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/333358144/ Both the coding and design of this project took quite a long time to make, so please also consider a ❤️ or ⭐️! If you’re wondering how this project was made, it relies mostly on two blocks from the ‘sensing’ category. ‘Timer’ and ‘loudness’ are simultaneously recorded in two lists (known as ’sampling’). Claps are shown by a significant increase in loudness over a short amount of time. The results are then quantised, which means that they are corrected to fit with the beat shown by the metronome This makes the graph more accurate and allows the recording to be displayed as musical score.
