- click the green flag - click the > button under the first boombox to select a song - click the second boombox to turn it on - slide the balance slider to switch back and forth between listening to the first and second boombox - they are, uh, synced-ish ! XD when the next song starts, then they really sync up :D - press m to mute/unmute everything or arrow keys for volume
this test is for when you join a cloud game, the music starts at around the same place (on the same song) as is already playing for the first user. it's not totally synced for the rest of the first song, so sometimes it sounds really funny if you evenly split the balance, lol ! but in a cloud game, the two users wouldnt really be able to hear both copies of the song at once. XD started with @xXRedTheCoderXx's how to make a pause button project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/316863795/ trying to figure out how much the second boombox would have to "fast-forward" to get close to syncing up with the first one, at least enough until the next song starts. the idea is background music could be synced(-ish) for all players in a cloud project. just saw that @Elephant_Lover did something similar here, with using pitch to fast-forward to a particular part of the audio file: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/322615380/ i also feel vaguely like i saw something like this somewhere a long time ago but can't remember where, sorry ! music: "Airline" by Geographer "Church of 8 Wheels" by Otis McDonald "Roller Blades" by Otis McDonald "Ditch Digging" by Jingle Punks
