I'm making an original Open Species! They are called FoGlowi's! Press space for the more accurate representation of what they look like! (The first is just how I was inspired to make them!) INFO (Required Traits): Physical Attributes: • Name: FoGlowi • General Appearance: Small Fox like creatures with flat beaver-like tails. Their ears are normally bigger than their faces and have tufts of fur at the end of them. • Lifespan: Around 34-44 years • Defence Mechanisms: Playing dead, poisonous blood, will slap their tail on a surface if predictors come too close. • Abilities: Hovering above the ground, Bioluminescence, Very agile and can get through small spaces. They also can sense if something is moving near them, from sensory cells in their skin. They can use their tails to swim quickly and or prop themselves up. • Locomotion: Levitation and or walking • Herbivore, Carnivore or Omnivore?: Herbivore • Diet: Dandelion's, Clovers, Strawberries, Pennycress and other vegetables • Intelligence: Somewhat ignorant • Illnesses (any unique diseases that the species is vulnerable to?): Respiratory distress syndrome and Hyperoxia • Predators: Larger canines, bears, lynxes, badgers, fisher cats, and large birds of prey • Problems (any problems that are caused by the species physical appearance/abilities): Can potentially ruin people's gardens or lawns by eating their plants. Species Culture: • Habitat: Caves, Forests and or gardens. • How does the species attract a mate?: By looks and or actions • Gender Status: Males and Females are equal • Do they travel in groups/packs or alone?: In small groups or alone. Groups consist of 3-5 FoGlowi's • Government (how do they choose a leader?): Usually there is a more dominant FoGlowi in a group that leads the others in decisions or other tasks. • Clothing (do they wear clothes?): No • Jobs: In a group of FowGlowi's one is the leader, others can hunt for food, explore places for shelter or play and other tasks to help the group as a whole. Aging: • How do they procreate?: The couple will take a spark from one of their Glow sources and combine them. This little spark eventually becomes a baby FoGlowi after a few weeks. • Infancy: The parents overlook the pups actions and protect the young pup as it grows. Around 10 years they are then considered an adult, yet can still be in their family's group or make their own. • Death (does this species die in a different way?): When one dies their body bursts with light and small sparks rise into the sky.
