Coding: @RedCuzImAwesome Art: @MistCat Design: egg-juice @ TH YES! I just got this dude in a trade a few days ago, and I'm really excited to develop the character. OKay-okay, ok, so! This character is in the same universe as Tex (The OC from this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/316298248/) He's also a shapeshifter, which should be a fun concept to play around with. He and Tex are around the same age, and both have the ability to sense when disasters or tragedies are about to occur. While Tex wants to stop them, this guy wants to make sure nothing gets in the way of them happening. Why? Well, way back when he was young, he was quite the trickster and enjoyed adding to the chaos of bad events but didn't actually want to see anyone get hurt. Some humans found out about him and one was able to use an old shapeshifter 'curse' to make it so he can't physically interact or touch anything. The curse ends when that human's family lineage has all died out, which is why he is so stubborn about letting disasters happen. He doesn't know where the last of the family lines is, but he's practically just hoping whatever bad is going to happen will happen to that person. He isn't too menacing, actually, since he can't touch anything. The best he can do is to hopefully scare away whoever Tex brought to help him. Appearance-wise, he generally 'looks' more human than Tex. Even in animal form, he has very human-like movements, paws that look more like hands and almost always a notable Adam's apple. Culturally he doesn't get Tex's closeness with humans. Shifters generally don't have names or friends. He doesn't care about all that. Tex does. Although unhappy with how he acts and his aggression, Tex is still somewhat warm towards him, albeit out of pure pity. In one of their encounters, a friend of Tex's named him Berry. And it just... stuck, to his dismay. Even as far as personality goes, he and Tex are polar opposites. While Tex is always gloomy but knowledgeable, Berry is always optimistic with a side of desperation. It really messes up him though that he can't touch and hence feel anything, which is what fuels his desperation. He has five forms, (Human, cat, wolf, a twisted lion-like creature and a raccoon.) while the average shifter has about four. Tex has three, (Human, dog, and crow.) but had the strength of mind to manipulative one of them to add wings. Other little random facts: He's aware he's very edgy but embraces it. Shapeshifts a lot more than normal. Tex avoids shapeshifting because it hurts, but at this point, but Berry is a show-off and does it anyway. Really hates his name but can't get rid of it. So he chooses to pretend he's really happy about it out of spite... Not unempathetic, he just places himself as a higher priority. He doesn't care if someone is about to die, but once they do, and his curse still isn't lifted, he does show genuine sorrow for them.
