This project shows you how the decimal point (or comma in Europe) moves to the left or right when we change to a larger or a smaller unit of length respectively. To get the value of a length in the next larger unit we divide the value by 10 and to get the value of a length in the next smaller unit we multiply it by 10. This way you can learn to convert between millimeters, centimeters, meters and kilometers as well as decimeters, dekameters and hectometers. For Gabi.
