Instructions

Press the green flag to start. You can adjust the slider at the top - other than that it's a simulation The lines at the bottom are line graphs of the amount of certain types of blobs - teal is normal, red is for sensing ones, and green is for fast ones. The time variable shows how much time the blobs have to collect their food. Once it goes to 0, they retreat back to their border or die.

Description

This is a project based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZGbIKd0XrM Basically, each day, food appears, and blobs need to gather the food. If they get 1 piece of food, they survive, if they get 2 pieces, they reproduce, and if they don't get any before running out of energy, they die. When a new blob is created, it has a chance to mutate. If it turns red, then it can now sense food from larger distances. If it turns green, then it can move faster.
