Alarmed, an Espeon woke up in the middle of the night. She wasn't normally up this late, but there was a strange noise coming from outside of her home. Slowly, she stood up, and crept outside to see what the mysterious noise could've been. She looked around, and suddenly got startled again. "W- Who's there?!" she anxiously asked. No response. The Espeon heard the noise once more, and decided to look for where the noise was coming from, to hopefully stop it. After searching for 15 minutes, the Espeon still hadn't found the noise. "(sigh), This is useless. I better go home," As soon as she started walking, she bumped into a tree. "I'm really not used to this night stuff," she said. As she went home, hitting less trees as she progressed, she realized that the strange noise was getting louder. After another half hour the Espeon was so tired from her walk, she needed to get back to sleep. "... Can't.... give.... up..... must... go...." The Espeon suddenly fainted, making a loud thud. Meanwhile in the distance, an Umbreon was howling, like he did every night. Right before he was going to do it again, he heard a thud nearby. The curious Umbreon stopped his routine, and headed out for the noise. Shortly, he saw an unconscious Espeon, lying alone in the dark. "What is a Sun Pokemon doing alone in the middle of the night?" the Umbreon paused. "What am I doing just standing here? I should bring her to my den, before anything happens to her!" Slowly, the Umbreon lifted the Espeon onto his back, and carried her to his den. The following morning, the Espeon woke up peacefully, but not in her home. "HUH?! WHERE AM I?!" she screeched. "?! What?!" The Umbreon also screeched. "W-WHO ARE YOU!? WHERE AM I?! WHY AM I--" "Calm down!" The Umbreon interrupted. "My name is Dusk, and you're in my den. I found you unconscious in the forest last night so I decided to take you in. By the way, why were you out last night?" "I heard a strange noise last night... did you hear it too?" "Strange noise?" Dusk said now sounding interested, "What did it sound like?" "It sounded like some sort of howl, but it was sorta eerie..... and it also went something like, 'a-ree-on' or something." "Uhm... that was me." Dusk corrected. "Oh! I- I- um.... Actually liked it?" The Espeon flustered. "Yeah, I don't like it that much either. You don't have to lie to me, y'know." "N- no! I thought that if you heard it you wouldn't have liked it either... I really do think it's beautiful..." The Espeon gave a shy smile. "I'm Marisol by the way..." she blushed, going over everything that was happening in the past hours. "Well, you better go home now." Dusk said, interrupting Marisol's current thoughts. "I would but there's one problem," "What?" "I'm lost."
I had a lot of fun writing this so I hope you like it!
