Here's the 519 word description for the weekly :) My dream bedroom would be extremely spacious. I would want my bed to be at the west side of the room, and it would be absolutely amazing if the bed could be a canopy bed. It would be even better if the supports for the canopy could look natural, like I could have picked them up from the forest floor while I was out for a walk. The bed would also have drawers in the base so I’d have even more storage space. I would want the walls to be a light tan color, and the trim would be a creamy white. Ideally, there would be an accent wall of blued ponderosa pine on the northern wall. There would be windows facing east so I could always catch the sunrise, and there would be a cozy balcony that could be accessed on the western side from a sliding glass door. The view would be positively spectacular—a creek babbling along merrily beside a flowerbed full of gladioli, with rolling hills covered in trees rising in the distance. The lighting in my room would be mainly from lamps whose stands have a plant-like design, and I would hang fairy lights across the ceiling and along the borders of the walls, and I would have a few candles on my desk, which would be located beside my bed. The floors of my room would be made of black walnut, and they’d have a polyurethane finish. All of my doors would be made out of black walnut as well. My closet would be a large, walk in closet, with plenty of space for anything I would want to hang there. There’d be another door leading to a nice bathroom. I’d hang light thin curtains over the eastern windows, and all of the windowsills would be covered in all sorts of different plants—ferns, ivy, succulents, jade plants, spider plants, wandering jews— and rocks. I would keep even more plants on my balcony, and I’d keep a vase of the gladioli from the creek on my desk. I’d also want plenty of shelves on the walls for all of my ceramic figurines and I’d fill a china hutch with my snow globes and china dolls. I would leave plenty of space on the walls for hanging photographs and paintings as well. There would be a ceiling fan to help keep the place cool. I would want hanging shelves for extra space, and I’d have another desk by the windows so I would have a better-lit area for writing and my art projects. I would have an earthy toned throw rug on the center of the floor, and I’d have a coffee table and a couch along with a few hammock chairs in the southern corner of my room so that I would have a nice spot to relax by myself or chill out with a few friends. It would be nice to have a small TV for that corner as well. I really could go on forever, but I suppose this is getting boring now. I have big plans for my dream room!
This is my completed weekly activity for DWC! :)
