Here are a few pieces that I've been playing around with in my free time. Enjoy! :) TURN YOUR VOLUME UP! –––––––––––––––––– Descriptions ––––––––––––––––– Heart and Soul: I took the melody of this song and changed the chords around from the typical (C Am F G) to something completely different. [Duration: 0:27] Dm Chords/Improv: A bunch of chord progressions I came up with pasted together, along with a couple melody lines. Has an added electric piano improvisation part throughout the entire song. [Duration: 6:21] ––––––––––––––––––– More Info ––––––––––––––––––– Heart and Soul: I was playing around with the extremely easy and overplayed piano classic, and I wanted to make it more interesting with my own personal flair, so I changed the chords around. Took me a couple of hours to compose & record. Made with piano, electric piano, bass, and cymbals. (just the instruments, not the specific names of the patches on my keyboard) Chord progression: C | Am | F | G | E/G# | Am | Fmaj7 | Dm7 | C7 | Dm7/A | F7 | D9/G | Cadd9 | Adim | Fm7/Ab | Ebmaj7/G (Ending: Ab | Fm7/Eb | Cmaj9/D) Dm Chords/Improv 1: My own composition of chords and some improv. Was taken on my 2nd or 3rd attempt, all in one go. The chords are way too long/many to document, so I won't be including them. The electric piano was also recorded in one go. I hit a couple wrong notes, but it was on my 2nd try, and was purely improv, without any planning beforehand. (Note: @Samrya and I are collaborating irl on making this into a piano solo, with the chords as a guideline, though sometimes they are changed.) Click see inside, then on the art sprite, and then on the sound tab. You will see "Dm Chords only" part 1 and part 2. That is the first half of the Dm track, but without the electric piano improv.
