You liked Jolly Fish?... now let's go to serious stuff! 1/ Go full screen 2/ CONCENTRATE and get INTO the 3D image!!! (use the space bar to pause the anim and focus on one image, that might be easier to start with) Do you see it?? leave comment to say!... I expect many won't see it, so I need some good faith testimonies :) By changing the point of focus of your eyes, your brain will try to recreate a 3D image that matches the deformations of the pattern. It's kind of magical, I'm still amazed by what our brain can do. I combined the stereogram effect with a scrolling pattern.. which on one hand makes a cool (and more dynamic) 2D animation, but on the other hand makes it more difficult to get into the 3D... maybe I will release a version without the scrolling effect if people ask. You can find stereogram books. But you can't find many stereogram animations.. so enjoy this one!
100% scratch, 100% pen-generated, 100% jeremaye Music = Sweet Drop - Human Nature... very trippy Here is the generator for the frames: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/31382712/ For the ones who know Jolly Fish (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/27702096/): the hidden 3D shape is the same plain cosinus function, that is propagated from the center of the screen. Any shape would work (and any pattern as well)... I just like the cosinus because it's simple (and I'm lazy :) , yet it gives nice results.
