The giant spider crawled along the path to a reed hut. A man stood in the doorway, silhouetted against the flickering light of a small fire. "Well, Sharp, you're here at last." the man said to the spider, "Come inside, the meeting's started already." Suddenly, the spider began transforming into a heavily muscled man. "Thank you Wasp." the second man said, as he stepped over the threshold of the hut. Inside, there were several men sitting on the floor. In front of one particularly scarred man, there was a large map. The scarred man gestured for Sharp to take a seat next to a man with an eye patch. "Snake, you were saying," said Wasp. "Yes, thank you Wasp. As I was saying, the plan cannot proceed until the girl is eliminated." Rain fell into the icy water of the Metara River. She surfaced and looked towards the bank. She saw her younger brother, Squirrel, laughing at her. "Why you little," Rain said, jumping out of the water, and punching him in the face. She never got to say what he was, for at that moment, their mother, Crane Who Catches Large Fish, stood in front of them. "Rain Who Brings Good Harvest, Squirrel Who Jumps on Head, what are you doing? she inquired in a booming voice.
