I had this medley finished a few days ago and recorded it on Sunday, 2. I spend almost 3 DAYS going back and forth between audio compressors because the file size was too big and .wav converters because for some reason Scratch wouldn't let me upload a .mp3 (although it eventually did), which is why the audio quality SUCKS, and 3. for sOME REASON, Scratch kept not letting me save, even though my internet connection was fine, the file size was fine, and it uploaded the sound file fine. It eventually did work tho, but I had to do a hecking TON of work to get this thing posted >:OOOO I'm fine now tho, also I'm really proud of the drawing aNYWAY, cutting to the chase.... Ben Platt is one of my all-time favorite artists, and this album, "Sing to Me Instead" made me cry the first time I listened to it all the way through because it was so touching and beautiful, thanks Ben <3 Everything about the album is so sincere, wholesome, and sweet (not to mention gorgeous because Ben has the voice of a flubbing ANGEL >:O)! His music speaks to me on a personal level. Although I don't have a partner and never have (and won't for a while yet), the songs I can connect with the most are "Ease My Mind" and "In Case You Don't Live Forever". Social anxiety/general anxiety makes life hard sometimes ("sometimes"), but there are a few special people who make me feel so much better and "Ease My Mind", and "In Case You Don't Live Forever" perfectly describes how I feel about my family- they mean everything to me, but I don't tell them nearly enough. So yeah I made a medley like I always do, ft. my unspeakably horrible voice (some parts are better than others, but it all still sucks), a piano backing track I arranged on Noteflight that was way too loud while I recorded, and some awful recording quality resulting from an online audio compressor (it was the only one that worked tho).
