Cold winds Chapter 1 Lilac kit felt cold hard rasps of a tongue on her back. She was awake just not awake enough to get up. Last night her, Galekit, and Ravenkit raided Birchfurs medicine den. It was Galekits idea and Lilacs best friend, Ravenkit, was able to convince her to go. Although she was always the distracter. Galekit said it was a way for her not to get hurt. "Just because Im missing a paw doesn't mean I'm useless." She muttered to herself. Gale kit, Ravenkit, and Lilackit always did little adventure like that. Gale kit always said is was practice when he would save all the clans. Lilac thought back to when she first heard about the prophecy. She and her brother were closer then anything and he was alway there to help her walk and stood up for her when the apprentices teased her. But that all changed when they heard of the prophecy. All of a sudden Lilackit was nothing more then a piece of dirt in his prey. He now acted like the leader. He had followers, Silverface, there father, and Ravenkit of course. She was always right by him at all times taking the place of Lilac. Lilackit and Ravenkit were always friends. The only she-kits in the nursery. Night sky would joke and say that Ravenkit could pass as her daughter. Silverface said the same. "She's my /replacement/" She thought. Silverface had never really liked her. After all Frostclan was in a war with Owlclan and Cloverclan, and a cat missing a paw wouldn’t make a good fighter. Or hunter in any case. So when a rouge turned up with a little healthy kit, he toke his chanse at a /normal/ daughter. Then again wasn’t Galepaw enough? He was a prophecy cat after all. “Come on Lilac. Wake up.” A soft gentle voice mewed. Propping her up. Lilackit finally opened her eyes to find her mother above her. She always admired her mother’s beauty. She was dark black with one white ear and deep blue eyes. “What is it...?” Lilackit asked sleepily. “It’s time for your ceremony.” She whispered. After some coping Lilackit reluctantly got up and let her mom clean her pelt. Ravenkit And Galekit We’re no were in sight but Lilackit didn’t mind. The quiet was nice. She slowly walked out of the nursery, a challenge with every step. It was hard living without a leg but she had to make due. As she limped to the prey pile she stole glances at the warriors. Most of them looked disgusted at her. Others looked away as soon as she came by. She sighed and picked a small mouse from the pile. "Don't look at them." Night sky told her. Nightsky was just as persecuted as Lilackit was. Frost clan could only afford healthy cats. No lousy ones, And Nightsky had produced a burden of one. It wasn't fair. The fact that Nightsky was treated wrongly while her mate Silverface was praised for his son. Lilackit nodded and let her mother pick up her tiny kit body by the scruff. She looked around the camp. "Frostclan! Any cat old enough to hunt in the snow may gather under Snow ledge!" Moonstar yowled. Moonstar was a clam grey she-cat with deep blue eyes, she was the sister of Nightsky and from what Pebblestream, an elder, says she is the best leader yet. Night sky placed Lilackit down, She looked up only to be pushed to the ground. "What?!" She struggled to stand back up. "Got you!" A cheerful voice yelled. "Oww! Wha?" Lilackit yelled back. "Get off her now!" A stronger bolder voice instructed. Two weights were lifted and a paw helped her up. She looked around to see Galekit and Ravenkit smiling and laughing. She kicked Galepaw. "Shh. The ceremony!" Iceleap the deputy shushed them. "Sowwy." Lilackit got out. "First of all Iceleap reported Owlclan stench on in our borders!" Moonster yowled, following with loud screeches of Fox hearts and Fox dung. Raven kit sat next to Galekit. A little to closely "Secondly we have 3 kits that are ready to be apprenticed. Gale kit step forward." She smiled fondly at the young tom. "Galepaw form this day till you get your warrior name you'll be named Galepaw. I will be your mentor. I will do my best to insure that you are ready for when the time comes for you to save the clans in your prophecy." Gale paws face was full of pride and happiness. "Raven kit, from this day on till you become a warrior your name will be Ravenpaw. Your mentor will be Thornshine. I hope she passes down all her fighting skills and ambition to you." Lilac kit stole a glance at the once rouge. She was a large she-cat rippling with muscles. Her pelt was a dirty dark grey and she was layered with scars. "Lastly, Lilackit." She eyed her and Lilackit wasn't sure if it was anger in her eyes or hopefulness, but she could all ready fell the angry looks burning into her pelt. "From this day one your name shall be Lilacpaw, your mentor will be Birchfur." Lilac paws eyes widened. "Im going to be a medicine cat?!"
Well that was long. Sorry again about that. The scene will be out soon. Any way this was mostly about what has happened from the prologue to now and is anyone seeing anything about Raven and Gale?
