Instructions

UPDATED PROJECT HERE >>> https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/322341152/ <<< *** Controls *** Play the project, then: [Move Mouse] to move the light source (yes it lags - sorry - far too much processing going on). [Left Click] to place tiles. [Space Key] removes tiles. *** What is this *** My end goal is to create another game a bit like Terraria, but I wanted to experiment with smaller tile sizes. Believe it or not, there are 1200 tiles on screen here! I'm wondering if I can make this a non-scrolling game (paged rather than scrolling) to avoid the need to redraw everything all the time. I've updated the project to reflect the corrected light rendering (minus cool shadowy effect sadly - but this is what was intended) Subscribe to me on YouTube for great tutorials of coding in Scratch! *** Change Log *** 26 Jul 2019 - v0.3 - Speed optimisations 25 Jul 2019 - v0.2 - Tweak 25 Jul 2019 - v0.1 - Initial Release
