He’s sad because he just figured out he has the Wyvern’s curse- It causes extreme clumsiness and a few chronic things. He’s bullied because his curse makes him mess up almost everything. He hardly has friends, and some of his siblings were killed in tragic events. If you look close, you can see the Chinese Wyvern tangled around him!
