She looked around frantically, until she saw an opening, and she went for it. She felt like she was flying while she ran, but as she reached the rock she had planned to use to jump over the flames, dismay overtook her. The flames were to high to jump over now, and their was truly no escape, as the smoke in her lungs threw her into a coughing fit. As she looked up into the night sky she whispered to herself.."Starclan you can take me....cough...i....just want......Speckleheart to.....remember me...." And with her last word her body went limp, and she breathed her final breath. (Afterwards) Speckledheart went up to his mate's dead body. "Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He yowled, and pressed his face into her fur one last time. Speckledheart turned away crying, and he left his mate's body.
