Evelyn Reid Female 13 Family: Max Reid Male 42 Aiko Reid Female 39 Friends: Henry Carter Male 14 Mara Baker (Neighbor) Female 16 Black hair, deep brown eyes, & pale skin. Wearing an oversized, pale blue sweatshirt with a dark green stripe, faded jeans, and worn out hiking boots. She doesn't have much hobbies besides gossiping with Mara and helping Henry. She spends most of her time worrying about how she should look. Henry feels like he can tell anything to Evelyn but she is too embarrassed to tell him anything.
Evelyn has lots of self doubt. She tries not to show it. If she did, she did, Henry would find out. She doesn't want to show her best friend that she has a weakness. Part of the reason why she has self doubt is because she feels that Henry doesn't like her like she does. (Ooh, drama!) She often talks about this with her neighbor, Mara. Her neighbor is in high school and knows how to help with each and every one of Evelyn's problems. They're both only children so they often feel like sisters. Mara gives her fashion tips, though she rarely takes them. Henry is always telling Evelyn that he can tell her anything and that he always goes to her for help. Evelyn gets the idea that Henry doesn't like her because Henry never says anything about how he feels about her. Evelyn wishes Henry liked her because she has a crush on him. (Oh wow, that's a shocker!) Her parents are at work a lot and don't really understand teenage feelings anymore. (My parents though, lol.) They are kind of strict so they make Evelyn have a clean room all the time, get perfect grades, and, worst of all, have a good status at school. Evelyn is just swarming with emotions and she has nothing to take it out on. She wish she had someone that could /solve/ all of her problems like she does with Henry. No one really understands her /that/ much. Mara's parents are pretty laid-back and super rich. Evelyn's parents are very strict and have an average economic status. Mara lives like a queen in high school while Evelyn just feels like that background character standing in the crowd that you never even notice.
