Impurity's sister, Purity, was always much more popular than her. This has been the case ever since she was a kit. She always tried to be included in Purity's friend groups, but she was always shooed away. As a result of this, she grew introverted. She discovered her power one day after she had a mental breakdown. A small, friendly spirit came to calm her down. From then on out, the spirits were her only friends. Then, young Wilaks (aged 5-8) started going missing. Purity was also starting to act slightly different. More nice. Impurity saw her walking away with a 5-year-old Wilak named Thorn. She followed them, keeping hidden, and witnessed Purity murder Thorn. Impurity attacked Purity, and Purity set her on fire. Impurity ran until she fell into a small lake, extinguishing her flames. She managed to get out. While this was happening, Purity told everybody that Impurity had jumped off a cliff. Impurity found this out, but was too afraid to go back. So she ran away. She made a mask, wearing it to hide her disfigured face. She then started wandering around Sector 13.
