While imprisoned, she befriended Daniel (formerly named Tiger), who encouraged her to escape with him. When they did, Belly began to grow feelings for Daniel, but when he attempted to leave her to go back home, she lashed out and attacked him, accidentally killing him. Plagued with guilt from her actions, Belly sought out asylum with Milo and Xan, who have been taking care of her ever since.
