The twilight sky glistened as the stars slowly started to come out. At the edge of the rapidly darkening pine forest stood an elemental deer with a wispy tail. The deer peeked out from behind a tree, looked both ways, and ran. “Boss! Over there!” The cry came out from the forest, and suddenly, there were wolves. The deer ran as fast as she could. For what would the Sky do without her? Even though she, Mistlight, could hear the wolves rapidly closing In on her, she could not see them. Her hooves beat against the ground as she weaved through the tall grasses of this field. As long as she got to her side of the forest, she would be safe. Finally, after many time-units of running, she could feel the cool breeze coming from the Ice Forest. She ran harder, knowing that once she Crossed the Boundary-line, she would be safe from the Wolf-ones. She felt the wind ripple her short fur, and knew that she must be getting close. Her pursuers, however, knew this also, and ran faster. This Chase was almost over, and the Wolf-Ones and their terrifying leader, The Dark One, would not have her today. She crossed the Boundary-line with quick feet. All at once, the footfalls of the wolves stopped. And Mistlight was safe.
WOOOOOO, THAT WAS FUN TO WRITE! I have a feeling that even if I don’t get this w/dta, i’ll still make this story, but with a different character. Word count: 221
