Flaggio and wait a bit to see the effects This is for a DTA I recently joined. If anything's wrong with it, just tell me and I'll fix it. I know the original character was supposed to be all goofy, but I decided to make her a bit more respectable, I guess. She'd fit in the furry universe I made.
Carmenta is a name coming from a Roman Goddess of childbirth and prophecy. Carmenta (My character) is a spirit (basically) who warns mortals of dangerous beings. Those mortals are always part of a prophecy, and her warnings are to be taken seriously. She has a link with the goddesses of the past, present, and future, so her warnings are always true. Just...hard to realize and figure out. (Note: I'm not very good at writing or making up stories, so this probably won't be that good) ---------------------Summary of her story----------------------- Carmenta grew up wanting to help others, and found herself in dangerous situations where she tried to protect others before herself often when she was alive. Her heroism was admired by many, but she soon became a target of aggression and hatred by those she'd stopped. One night, they all gathered around her home, planning to kill her. Their hatred grew by the second, and they'd been so lost in it that they'd lost all humanity. Just evil's puppets. The horde closed in with burning torches-- warm flames glowing silently in the night. But once they busted through her door, they found her already dead. Nobody knew how she'd died. Once word got out about the heroic woman's death, they built a statue of her. She was nicknamed 'The red angel' in stories told about her. Many believed she truly was an angel sent by the heavenly goddesses and gods to protect humanity from evil's treacherous claws. Her statue was soon finished, but in the coming decades, both the statue and her name was forgotten. It faded in the waves of time, washed away by years of change. To this day, her plaque is rusted and old. But it still reads the same name and ominous phrase. 'Carmenta- "Heed her warnings always-- evil is the most patient of all" ' -----------------------------Extra stuff------------------------------- So, basically, she lives on as a spirit. She's tied to the statue, and can only use her powers for a moment to warm others with her mirror. I'm still working out how she could work in my story with my furry character's universe, but I think she could definitely be a nice addition.
