Thomas was made in 1945 during the war. It was first made by The Rev. Wilbert Awdry (a British person). His first book was called "The Three Railway Engines" starring Henry, Gordon and Edward. Thomas first appeared in the year 1946. Then Britt Allcroft made a TV series in 1984.
